Luna Foundation is teaming up with Bucuti and Tara Beach Resort to create something seriously special, a chance for hotel guests to “rent” a rescued dog for a few days during their Aruba stay. This is not a gimmick, it is a feel good, life enhancing experience that gives a deserving Luna dog a mini vacation too.

For your stay, your furry friend can relax with you in your room, join you around the resort, stroll the beach, and even accompany you to the resort restaurants. Think of it as fostering on vacation, with the comfort of knowing Luna Foundation is supporting the whole experience.

If you would love to be matched with a Luna dog during your Bucuti and Tara stay, simply complete the application form below. This helps us ensure the right fit for you, the dog, and the resort environment. Once approved, Luna Foundation will match you with a dog whose personality suits your plans, whether you want a chilled cuddle buddy, a gentle beach walker, or a happy little shadow who just wants to be near you.

Because the dogs’ wellbeing comes first, spaces are limited and approval is required.

Responsibilities Acknowledgment

By participating in the Bucuti foster, I understand and agree that:

  • The dog must always be kept on a leash when outside the guest room.

  • Cleaning up after the dog during the foster period is required at all times.

  • The dog must be supervised at all times to ensure its safety and the comfort of other guests.

  • Any injury, illness, or incident must be reported immediately to Bucuti and the partnering shelter.

  • I understand that this is a rescue dog that may still be adjusting to new environments and routines.

  • I agree to comply with all Bucuti & Tara pet policies and foster program guidelines.

  • I allow Bucuti & Tara to use my photos/videos taken during the foster experience.
