Hello! I am Amelia, and it’s a pleasure to meet you.

I’m one of hundreds of thousands of unwanted puppies born on the streets of Aruba every year. There was no sign of my mum or anyone to keep me safe when I was found. Luna foundation gave me sanctuary, and I was so relieved to have a safe place to sleep and food to eat. It would be a dream to experience life as a precious pet. Can you make that dream come through?

I’m wary of new people and keep my distance until I know I can trust them, which can take a while. However, I’ve built really strong bonds with my carers. My tail is always wagging when I see them and I am always eager to say good morning to them. I love to cuddle and am good with every dog I meet. I do limp sometimes, due to an old injury but that doesn’t stop me from running, jumping or whatsoever.

I know I can build the same connection with a family. I just need the opportunity to do so. If you can give me that chance, please apply.
