Like so many other rescues at the sanctuary my journey to Luna began after they got information about puppies born in the wrong place. Together with my sisters, we were hiding in a cliff cave. We were just a couple of months old and we had never known human love. How we ended up there, I don’t remember but I was lucky to be found as we hadn’t survived otherwise.

Two of my sisters left the sanctuary quite a while ago, but since I am more of a sensitive soul, I needed some extra time and love to boost my confidence, before I was ready to follow in their pawsteps. Although it still takes me quite some time to get to know strangers, I enjoy making new friends nowadays and, once I do, I let them see the real quirky and sweet me. I’d like a home with a family who understands that I may need a bit of time to settle in and show them what a great family member I can be.
