Did you know senior dogs have only a 25% chance of being adopted?

When an individual rescuer tried to find an injured, white dog at the beach, she stumbled upon Felix. She went back to the beach three or four times and every time Felix would be there, following here, trying to get in her car. The white dog was never found and eventually she decided to take Felix to the vet.

Felix was in rough shape: he had heartworm, erlichia, anaplasma, an ear infection… He stayed at the vet for a while, then moved to two different places until he eventually ended up at our sanctuary, the Safe Haven.

We’ve gotten to know Felix as a super sweet dog who loves to relax and is a big fan of cuddling!
