Luna For Life Expansion Project
I truly can't express my excitement to announce our Luna For Life Expansion Project which has been a vision since Luna was founded. Luna was founded to help the underdogs, the scared dogs, the mange dogs, the senior dogs, the abused dogs, and all those who need a little more love.
Many of these animals would be overlooked if Luna did not give them a chance.
Luna represents a new beginning and a fresh start for those animals on the island.
The need for the Expansion Project is greater than ever. Many animals tend to deteriorate in a “traditional” shelter setting and they need a retreat-like oasis where they can decompress and feel safe. Some animals need long-term rehabilitation and will join the Luna family permanently or for an extended amount of time. The seniors especially deserve a quiet place of their own where they can enjoy their golden years. With limited fosters on the island and how hard it is to get dogs off the island having a place for these long-term residents is essential.
The only thing standing in our way of opening is your support for our campaign to raise $50,000. It may seem like a lot, but given the impact this project will have, we know our supporters will get us to the finish line.

We are creating a habitat for our winged friends and a space for humans and our rescued dogs to bond.
Our Luna for Life Path will connect Luna play areas from kennel areas. The path will be surrounded in native plants and trees that attract birds and other winged creatures. This garden will be a focal point for everyone who visits Luna.
How it works:

Once the garden is complete, the name you provided will be included on the friends of the garden plaque which will reside in the garden amongst the flowers and trees.
